GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Byron man charged after crashing into Sheriff’s patrol vehicle

Nicholas S. Warriner, 24, of Byron, is charged with DWI, refusal to take a breath test, speed not reasonable and prudent, and following too closely, after crashing into the rear of a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle at 7512 Clinton street road in Bergen on January 16, 2022 at 12:15am.

The Sheriff’s patrol vehicle slowed down while another vehicle in front of the Sheriff’s patrol vehicle was turning off the roadway. Warriner was allegedly traveling at an unreasonable speed as well as allegedly following too closely to the marked Sheriff’s patrol vehicle.

Following roadside field sobriety tests, Warriner refused the roadside breath test. He was issued appearance tickets to appear in Bergen Town Court and will appear on February 16, 2022 at 3:00p.m.

Brianna N. Greene, 34, of Buffalo, is charged with grand larceny 4th/value greater than $1,000, after allegedly stealing mor than $1,000 worth of clothing items from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Batavia on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on January 8, 2022 at 3:51p.m.

Greene was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 18, 2022 at 1:00p.m.
