On January 16, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested John A. Hickey, 58, of Depew, NY, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
Troopers responded to Letchworth Pines on State Route 19A in the town of Genesee Falls to check the welfare of a man slumped over the wheel with the vehicle still running. During the interview, Hickey was exhibiting signs of impairment.
Troopers determined Hickey had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Hickey had failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.20% BAC.
Hickey was released with appearance tickets for the town of Genesee Falls Court for February 2022.
