Arrests

Burglary 2nd; Robbery 3rd; Assault 3rd; Criminal Contempt 2nd; Criminal Contempt 1st, 3:59 PM, Sunday, January 30, 2022, N Spruce St. – On 1/30/2022, Matthew J. SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE, M/25 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges. SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE, allegedly, violated a stay-away order of protection by striking a person in the face multiple times causing injury. SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE also forcibly took the victims phone during the incident. It was also determined that several children in the residence were also protected parties in a stay-away order of protection which SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE also violated during the same incident. SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE was processed at the Batavia Police Department and was arraigned before Judge Rogers in Batavia City Court and held on $15,000 A/$30,000 B/$60,000 E. SANCHEZ-SANQUICHE will reappear in Batavia City Court on February 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM.    

Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, 12:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Veterans Memorial Dr. – On 2/6/2022, Daniel T. HENNING, M/41 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant for the above listed charge. The charge stems from an incident where Henning, allegedly, stole property from a residence in Batavia and then was found to be in possession of the property after an investigation. HENNING was arraigned in Town of Batavia Court and released under supervision. HENNING is due back in Town of Batavia Court on February 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM.  

Criminal Contempt 1st, 10:30 PM, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, W. Main St. – On 2/9/2022, Lyndsay T. YOUNG, F/38 or Batavia, NY, was arrested for the above listed charge following an investigation into a violation of an order of protection alleging YOUNG violated said order by making numerous calls to the protected party. YOUNG was arraigned in Batavia City Court in front of Judge Burns. YOUNG was released under supervision with an order of protection issued out of Batavia City Court. She is scheduled reappear in Batavia City Court on February 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM.      

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, 3:18 PM, Monday, October 11, 2021, Walnut St. – On 2/4/2022, Christina M. SANCHEZ-ANDERSON, F/33 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant out of Batavia City Court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. She was arraigned by Judge Rogers and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $1.00 cash bail. Sanchez-Anderson will reappear in court on February 9, 2022.  

Petit Larceny, 7:42 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, S. Swan St. – Jessica L. HOLTZ, F/38, of Batavia, NY, was picked up by Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the 7 Eleven in Bergen, where she was turned over to the Batavia Police Department on two arrest warrants. HOLTZ was arraigned by Judge Rogers in Batavia City Court and released. She will reappear in Batavia City Court on February 23, 2022.  

Petit Larceny, 10:44 PM, Thursday, November 18, 2021, Jackson St. – Jessica L. HOLTZ, F/38, of Batavia, NY, was picked up by Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the 7 Eleven in Bergen, where she was turned over to the Batavia Police Department on two arrest warrants. HOLTZ was arraigned by Judge Rogers in Batavia City Court and released. She will reappear in Batavia City Court on February 23, 2022.  

Failure to Appear, 8:59 AM, Sunday, February 6, 2022, W. Main St. – On 2/6/2022, Lindsey T. YOUNG, F/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two separate warrants for failing to appear on her scheduled court dates. YOUNG was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. YOUNG is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on a later date.
