Deputies from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Town of Arcade for a domestic violence incident on February 2, 2022.
Deputies spoke with the victim who reported Carlos Torres Valentin, 33, had threatened the victim while holding a knife and was physically abusive. It was discovered that children were located inside the residence at the time of the incident.
Torres Valentin was arrested and charged with menacing 2nd, harassment 2nd, criminal mischief 4th and endangering the welfare of a child. Torres Valentin was arraigned in the Town of Java Court and released on his own recognizance.
He will reappear in court on March 3, 2022, in the Town of Arcade Court.
A full stay away order of protection was issued by the Court.
