NYS Police/Warsaw/Underage Drinking Initiative conducted in Wyoming County

On March 17, 2022, New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative that spanned two townships and two villages in Wyoming County.

One location was found not in compliance with the laws dealing with the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 21, Crosby’s in the village of Arcade.

As a result of the initiative, Michael P. Whitton, age 42, of Arcade, NY was charged under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control law, section 65 – Prohibited Sale to a Person Under the Age of 21. Whitton was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Arcade Court in April 2022.

The following establishments were checked and in compliance, Tops Market, Rite Aid, 7-Eleven, Attica Citgo, Sunoco Gas Station, Attica Wine and Spirits, in the village of Attica, NY, Kadds Mart, in the town of Bennington, NY, Red Apple Food Marts, in the town of Sheldon, NY, Tops Market, Arcade Market Place, Heppner’s Liquor Store, in the village of Arcade, NY.
