On April 4, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Karl R. Kennedy, 28, of Middlebury, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (A Misdemeanor).
On April 4, 2022, at 11:20 A.M., Troopers responded to Lagrange Road in the town of Covington for a shooting complaint. Troopers interviewed the complainant and located where the shooting was coming from. Troopers interviewed Kennedy who was shooting on his property. During the interview, Troopers observed a firearm that did not have a serial number. Kennedy was arrested for possessing the firearm and processed at SP Warsaw.
Kennedy was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Middlebury Court for April 2022.
