On April 10, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Shanaya N. Brooks, 20, of Gowanda, NY, for felony DWI, previous conviction within ten years, and aggravated unlicensed operator 1st degree.
During a traffic stop on Route 19 in the town of Warsaw, Brooks was allegedly exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Brooks had allegedly been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition and failed standardized field sobriety tests.
Brooks was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where she refused to submit a chemical test. She was released with appearance tickets for the town of Warsaw court, where she is due to appear at a later date.
