GENESEE COUNTY/Tonawanda Reservation man charged with attempted murder after knife attack

Jarrett C. Coniglio, 29, of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, Alabama, NY, is charged with attempted murder 2nd degree, a class B felony, assault 1st degree, a class B felony, criminal possession of weapon 3rd degree, a class D felony, intimidating a witness 3rd degree, a class E felony, criminal mischief 4th degree, and menacing 3rd degree, after an incident on Sandhill road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation on April 11, 2022 at 1:51a.m.

Coniglio allegedly attacked a male victim with a knife causing serious physical injury.

Coniglio was arraigned in the Town of Alabama Court and held without bail. He will re-appear in Court on April 19, 2022, at 6:00p.m.

The incident is being investigated by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Investigator Erik Andre, assisted by Sgt. James Diehl, Inv. Kevin Forsyth, Inv. Ryan DeLong, Inv. Howard Carlson, Inv. Chad Minuto, Inv. Joseph Loftus. Sgt. Mathew Clor, Dep. James Stack, Dep. Aryton Blankenburg, Dep. Ryan Mullen and Dep. Nicholas Chamoun.
