GENESEE COUNTY/LeRoy Police Report/Man jailed after domestic incident

Joshua L. Webster, 35, of LeRoy, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, menacing 2nd, criminal contempt 2nd (2 counts), criminal contempt 1st, a class E felony, and strangulation 2nd degree, a class D felony, following a domestic incident in LeRoy on May 1, 2022, at 12:06a.m.

Webster was processed and arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond bail.

On April 30, 2022, an arrest warrant was executed, and Webster was taken into custody on four counts of criminal contempt 2nd degree, He was processed at the LeRoy Police station and arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. Webster will answer these charges on May 3, 2022, at 3:30p.m. in LeRoy Town Court.

Amanda M. Jones, 34, of LeRoy, was arrested on 3 counts of endangering the welfare of a child after an arrest warrant was issued and executed by the LeRoy Police Department on April 30, 2022.

Jones was processed at the LeRoy Police station, arraigned and released.

Jones will appear in LeRoy Town Court on May 3, 2022 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charges.

Stephen M. Smith, 33, of Pleasant St., LeRoy, was arrested on April 20, 2022, for failure to register as a sex offender-change of address- a class D felony, due to a prior conviction for the same crime in 2016.

Smith was arraigned in the Town of LeRoy Court by Judge Sehm and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on no bail.

He will appear in LeRoy Town Court on May 19, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

Daniel Norstrand, 66, of LeRoy, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd and menacing 3rd degree following a disturbance on Church street in the Village of LeRoy on April 28, 2022.

Norstrand was transported to the LeRoy Police station for processing where he was released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in LeRoy Town Court on May 3, 2022, to answer the charges.

Jacklyn A. Collins, 33, no address provided, is charged with petit larceny after a larceny incident at Tops Markets on W. Main street in the Village of LeRoy on April 29, 2022.

Collins was processed at the LeRoy Police station and released on an appearance ticket. She will appear in LeRoy Town Court on May 19, 2022 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charge.
