GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man charged with sex abuse

Johnny G. Jenison, 51, of Federal drive, Batavia, NY, is charged with sexual abuse 1st degree, a class D felony and forcible touching after an investigation into alleged sex offenses that occurred at the Fairbridge Inn on August 10, 2021.

Jenison was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court on July 12, 2022 and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.

Jenison was held at the Genesee County Jail on $5,000 cash bail. He is due back in court at a later date.

Aaron J. Gaylord, 44, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly removing price tag stickers from C-clamps at the Batavia Home Depot and placing them on two sets of Huskey tools. Gaylord then checked out the items using the self-checkout and allegedly scanned incorrect bar codes.

Gaylord was arrested in the Target parking lot on Veteran’s Memorial drive on July 13, 2022 at 9:24a.m., and transported to the Genesee County Jail for fingerprints and photos.

Gaylord was released and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on August 16, 2022 at 1:00p.m.
