LEROY POLICE REPORT/LeRoy man charged after hit and run accident

Raymond Stanley Jr., 46, of LeRoy, NY, is charged with aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more, DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident following a hit and run property damage accident at 71 Wolcott street in LeRoy on July 23, 2022 at 10:04p.m.

Stanley was processed and released with traffic tickets and will appear in LeRoy Town Court on August 2, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

Jeffrey Ellinwoof, 63, of LeRoy, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree after he allegedly continued to contact the victim of a domestic incident after he was told to cease all communications with the victim.

The incident occurred on July 24, 2022.

Ellinwoof was arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and an order of protection was established protecting the victim from Ellinwoof.

Ellinwoof was released on his own recognizance and will re-appear in LeRoy Town Court on August 2, 2022, at 1:00p.m.

On July 23, 2022, Benjamin Rachow, 39, of LeRoy, NY, was charged with harassment 2nd degree after he was picked up by the LeRoy Police Department from Strong Hospital following his hospitalization for an injury related to an incident that occurred on July 22, 2022.

Rachow was arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and released on his own recognizance after a stay away order of protection was issued for the protected parties.
