GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man charged after operating vehicle with stolen plates

Marcus L. Mobley, 54, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree after a traffic stop on Bank street on August 27, 2022 at 2:15p.m.

Mobley was allegedly operating a vehicle with stolen license plates on East Main street in the City of Batavia.

Mobley was issued an appearance ticket and was also issued uniform traffic tickets for an unregistered motor vehicle, operating while registration was suspended or revoked and operating without insurance.

He will appear in City Court on September 7. 2022 at 9:00a.m.

Robert A. Drewry, 56, of Hamburg, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing money from a motor vehicle on Harloff road on June 8, 2022.

Drewry was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 20, 2022 at 10:00a.m.

Devin B. Carleton, 21, of Albion, NY, was turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office by the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department on a Genesee County Family Court warrant on August 26, 2022, for violating the Family Court Act.

Carleton was arraigned in LeRoy Town Court at 9:30p.m. and released on his own recognizance.

He will appear in Genesee County Family Court on August 29, 2022 at 9:30a.m..

Carleton was then turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant out of Covington Town Court
