NYS Police Report/September 18, 2022

On September 15, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Renee M. Seipel, 45, of Varysburg, NY, charging her with driving while intoxicated. 

Troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on French Road in the town of Bennington and during an interview, Seipel was allegedly exhibiting signs of impairment. Seipel is accused of operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition and failing standardized field sobriety tests.  She was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.12% BAC. 

Seipel was released with appearance tickets for the town of Bennington court, where she is due to appear at a later date.

On September 9, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Frank W. Kania, 26, of Pike, NY, accusing him of driving while intoxicated, operating vehicle without stop lamps and inadequate windshield.

On September 9, 2022, Troopers stopped Kania while traveling on Hardys road in the town of Pike for no stop lamps. Kania was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests and was transported to SP Warsaw for processing. Kania recorded a .09% BAC.

Kania was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Pike court for September 27, 2022.
