The Batavia Blue Devils end their regular season a perfect 8-0 with a 54-6 win over visiting Newark/Marion on Saturday afternoon at Van Detta Stadium.
Aiden Anderson started the 1st quarter scoring with a run down the sidelines to make it 6-0 on the first series.
An interception by Vincent Arroyo led to a second touchdown by Blue Devil Cameron McClinic. Arroyo then came up with a second interception that led to a touchdown by Brendan Burgess to make the score 19-0.
Aiden Anderson then scored his second TD of the day to make it 26-0. A fumble recovery by Aavian Bethel in a kickoff to Newark then led the last TD of the 1st quarter by Carter McFollins-Cramer.
At the end of the first quarter the score was 34-0.
Quarterfinal Sectional play will begin next Friday.
