Oakfield Alabama Elba finished the regular season undefeated at 8-0, with a 48-0 win over Notre Dame at Van Detta Stadium on Saturday evening.
Aiden Warner set up OAE’s first TD with a long run up the far sideline. Quarterback Bodie Hyde capped off the series, rolling his way in from the goal line to make the score 6-0.
Kyle Porter intercepted a pass on Notre Dame’s first possession of the game, leading to a second TD, also by Porter, to give the Aggies a 13-0 lead.
In the 2nd quarter, Bodie Hyde and Noah Currier each powered their way to the endzone to make the score 28-0 at the half.
Both OAE and Notre Dame will prepare for Sectional play beginning next week.
