GENESEE COUNTY/Medina man facing felony drug charges after allegedly selling methamphetamine in the city of Batavia

The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested a Medina man on October 19, 2022, after an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of methamphetamine in the city of Batavia.

Kevin P. Kage, 35, of Medina, NY, was taken into custody while in Orleans County, on a sealed indictment warrant out of Genesee County Court. Kage was then turned over to Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies and held at the Genesee County Jail pending arraignment.

Kage is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, both class D felonies.

Kage allegedly sold a quantity of methamphetamine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force while in Batavia on two separate occasions. He was arraigned in Genesee County Court on October 20, 2022, and released.

Task Force members were assisted by the Medina Police and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
