GENESEE COUNTY/Rochester man arrested after 6-month investigation into the possession and sale of crack cocaine in the City of Batavia

The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested a Rochester man on October 24, 2022, after a 6-month investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine in the city of Batavia.

Shamar R. Chester, aka “Game”, 46, of Rochester, NY, is charged with four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies.

Chester was taken into custody by Batavia Police on a sealed indictment warrant out of Genesee County on Bank street. Chester allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force while in the City of Batavia on four separate occasions. He was arraigned in Genesee County Court and released on recognizance.

Task force members were assisted by Uniformed Officers of the Batavia Police and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
