WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man facing rape charges in Genesee County, now facing rape charges in Wyoming County

On October 26, 2022, Ricardo Castillo Jr., 39, of Oakfield, NY, was arrested for rape in the first degree and rape in the third degree. He was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and committed to Wyoming County Jail on $100,000 bail, $200,000 bond, $400,000 partially secured bond.

He is to re-appear in court on November 1, 2022, for a preliminary hearing.

The charges are the result of a continuation of an investigation conducted by the Genesee County Sheriff Office. Charges have already been filed against the defendant by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office for offenses that occurred in Genesee County.

On October 19, 2022, Chris Comfort, no age provided, of Silver Springs, NY, was arrested for criminal contempt in the second degree and aggravated family offense, a class E felony.

Comfort is accused of violating an order of protection with a female victim.

He was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

On October 18, 2022, Sarah Mioducki, no age provided, of Alden, NY, was arrested for criminal contempt in the second degree after she failed to comply with a subpoena directing her to appear before the Wyoming County Grand Jury.

Mioducki was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date, she was then released from custody.

On October 20, 2022, Andre Roberts, no age provided, of Arcade, NY, was arrested on two counts of criminal contempt in the second degree.

Comfort is accused of violating an order of protection with a female victim.

He is currently being held in the Wyoming County Jail, and he is to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date to answer the charges.

DRUG TASK FORCE ARRESTS

On August 12, 2022, Stephen Thompson, no age provided, of Attica NY, was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on the charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies.

Thompson is accused of selling methamphetamine in the Village of Attica to the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in 2022.

On October 7, 2022, Bayne Johnson, no age provided, of Perry, NY, was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, both class D felonies.

Johnson is accused of selling clonazepam and lorazepam in the Village of Perry to the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in 2022.

On October 13, 2022, Jaime Beals, no age provided, of Portageville NY, was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on the charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies.

Beals is accused of selling methamphetamine in the Town of Castile to the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in 2022.

On October 7, 2022, Kelly Vanostberg, no age provided, of Arcade NY, was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, both class D felonies.

Vanostberg is accused of selling buprenorphine in the Village of Arcade to the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in 2022.

On October 24, 2022, Darin Wierzbic, no age provided, of Arcade, NY, was indicted by the Wyoming County Grand Jury on the charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies.

Wierzbic is accused of selling methamphetamine in the Town of Arcade to the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in 2022.
