On December 17, 2022 at 12:00p.m., The WNY National Cemetery Council will be helping Western New York National Cemetery in remembering and honoring our veterans by laying Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes at the WNY National Cemetery in Pembroke on Indian Falls road.

The Pembroke Veterans Outreach Club at Pembroke High School is selling wreaths for this event, with the goal of having a wreath placed on every headstone in the cemetery for the holiday season.

The club is selling the wreaths on behalf of the WNY National Cemetery Memorial Council, which is the non-profit entity that runs many of the events at the National Cemetery. $5.00 from the sale of wreaths from Wreaths Across America goes to the non-profit that sells them, so it is also a fundraiser for the Council which runs Wreaths Across America Day.
