WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/November 29, 2022

On November 22, 2022, deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle that was reportedly parked on Tooley Road, flashing its headlights on and off. After further investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Michael C. Schulz, 40, of Attica, NY was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree.

SCHULZ allegedly has one active suspension on his New York State license for a failure to answer a citation for an out-of-state violation.

Schulz was processed roadside and issued an appearance ticket. He will appear in the Town of Bennington Court on December 12, 2022 at 6:00p.m.

Following a traffic stop for speeding in zone (45/30) on West Main street in the Village of Arcade on November 23, 2022, Lacie J. Turgeon, 35, of Colden, NY is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, speeding in a zone (45/30), and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Turgeon was allegedly showing general indicators of intoxication roadside, with an open container of alcohol in her vehicle and also performed poorly on her standardized field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and submitted to a breath test that determined her BAC to be .08% or more.

Turgeon will appear in the Village of Arcade Court on December 8, 2022 at 3:00p.m.

Following a traffic stop on Main Street in Stykersville for a headlight violation, Thomas Campbell, 47, of Java, NY, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended and inadequate headlamps.

Campbell’s registration was allegedly suspended due to an insurance lapse dated 03/31/2021. He was processed roadside and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Sheldon Court on December 12, 2022 at 6:30p.m.
