Kevin W. Eckam, 38, of Attica, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 19 near Fox Road in the Town of Middlebury on November 29, 2022. Eckam was stopped after he was observed driving into the oncoming lane of traffic.
After a roadside investigation, Eckam is charged with DWI/2nd offense, a class E felony, driving with a BAC of .08% or more/2nd offense, a class E felony, aggravated DWI/driving with a BAC of .18% or more/second offense, a class E felony, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right.
Eckam was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Middlebury Town Court on December 5, 2022.
