State Police appear to be investigating a construction accident that occurred in the area of 3991 Rose Road in the Town of Batavia on Thursday afternoon.
A little before 2:00p.m., a scanner report of a male subject in his 30s who was reportedly unconscious with chest injuries, was involved in an accident with a crane at a home building construction site. Mercy Flight was requested but could not fly due to high winds.
According to neighbors, a larger crane was moved into the job site this week. The company involved in the construction specializes in modular homes.
A request to the NYS Police for information on the incident has not been answered. The condition of the male in his 30s is unknown at this time.
Town of Batavia Fire and Mercy EMS also responded to the incident.
