Ronell S. Agee Jr. Jaquel R. Gibson
Ronell S. Agee Jr., 20, and Jaquel R. Gibson, 21, both of Rochester, NY, are each charged with criminal possession of stolen property greater than $3,000, after fleeing from a traffic stop at 5272 Clinton Street Road in Stafford on February 16, 2023 at 8:16p.m.
Agee and Gibson were allegedly operating a stolen 2022 Jeep Compass and fled from Deputy Kenneth Quackenbush when he attempted to pull them over on Rt. 33.
A pursuit ensued and continued into the Town of Bergen, Riga, Chili and Wheatland before coming back west into the Town of LeRoy. Deputies were assisted by the LeRoy Police Department, who successfully deployed Spike Strips, a tire deflation device. Once the vehicle came to rest on Randall Road, the driver Ronell S. Agee allegedly fled from the vehicle on foot, but was taken into custody a short time later.
Agee was additionally charged with reckless driving 1st degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd degree and obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree along with several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Agee and Gibson were transported to the Genesee County Jail and held pending a CAP Court Arraignment.
