Evan J. Vanskiver, 31, of Brockport, NY, and Adam J. Montes, 38, of Hamlin, NY, are each charged with 14 counts of criminal possession of stolen property 4th degree and 1 count of criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree, after a complaint of larcenies from vehicles on Church street in Elba on February 27, 2023 at 4:14a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies say the suspects fled the area. K-9 Rayzor was called to the scene to assist with locating the suspects and eventually both Vanskiver and Montes were taken into custody.
Both suspects were issued appearance tickets returnable to Elba Town Court on March 22, 2023 at 5:00p.m.
