On March 5, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at SP Albion arrested Mark H. Bennett, 35, of Albion, NY for Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child- 5 counts (E Felony).
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Albion with the assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the town of Albion. Investigation determined Bennett possessed child pornography.
Bennett issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Albion Court and scheduled to return to court in March of 2023.
The mission of the ICAC Task Force is to identify individuals online who are attempting to lure children to meet for sex or those disseminating child sexual abuse material.
