A building formerly used as a convent at Holy Family Parish at 4396 Rt. 98 in N. Java was taken down earlier today after not being used for almost 20 years.

According to Father Corey Foegen, the building suffered water damage about 20 years ago after a water pipe burst causing significant damage. Several stained-glass windows were salvaged from the building that was built sometime in the late 1800’s.

As for now, there are no plans to replace the structure.
