WYOMING COUNTY/Quick actions by employees and first responders prevents significant damage after fire at business

Quick actions by Upstate Door employees and first responders prevented significant damage to the business on April 25th, about 12:30p.m., after an overheated electrical cord to a machine caused a fire at 26 Industrial Street in Warsaw.

According to the Office of Emergency Services, damage estimates are about $5,000 and the business was able to resume operations afterwards. Damage was limited to the area involved in the fire.

Fire crews from Warsaw, Silver Springs, Perry Center, Gainesville and Perry were on scene for about 1.5 hours. Also assisting on scene, Wyoming County Emergency Services, Warsaw Police Department, and the NYS Police.
