Alvin E. Way, 62, of W. Main Street, Batavia, NY, was arrested on May 12, 2023, after a Genesee County Sheriff’s Office investigation into an alleged series of sex offenses over a span of multiple years against a juvenile.
Way is charged with six counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, a class A-II felony, course of sexual conduct against a child, a class B felony, and six counts of criminal sexual act 1st degree, a class B felony.
Way was arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court and held in jail. A stay away order of protection was issued for the victim.
