Albion Central School’s Senior Signing Day is an annual event that celebrates the accomplishments and future plans of senior athletes. The event, which took place on June 7th, featured five student athletes from Albion Central School announcing their athletic commitments.
The students who signed during the event were:
Amari Jones, who committed to playing football at Edinboro University.
Javon Jones, who committed to playing football at the University of Brockport.
Nick Harling, who committed to playing football at Washington and Jefferson College.
Samantha Basinait, who committed to playing soccer at SUNY Cobleskill.
Dallas Ecker, who committed to swimming at Alfred State. Dallas was also recognized as part of the All-Western NY Academic Team and received the 2023 Multi-sport Student Athlete Award.
During Senior Signing Day, the seniors had the opportunity to publicly share their plans with their peers, teachers, and families. Each student took the stage individually, proudly announcing their chosen college, university, athletic program, or career path.
