GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Florida man charged after crashing his truck in Oakfield

Zachary A. Jones, 29, of Trinity, Florida, was arrested for DWI on July 16, 2023 at 3:30a.m., after he crashed his truck while driving east on Lockport Road in the Town of Oakfield.

After an investigation, it was determined that Jones was allegedly intoxicated by alcohol.

Jones is charged with DWI, moving from a lane unsafely, and speed not reasonable and prudent.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on August 7, 2023 at 6:00p.m.

Jason E. Howard, 38, of Angus, Ontario, Canada, is charged with trespass and disorderly conduct after allegedly staying at Six Flags Darien Lake when he was told to leave multiple times by Darien Lake Security on Alleghany Road on July 16, 2023.

Howard was also allegedly yelling obscenities and causing a public inconvenience by making unreasonable noises.

Howard was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Darien Town Court on August 3, 2023 at 1:00p.m.

Rebecca R. Fugate, 22, of Lewiston Rd., Batavia, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree/physical contact, after allegedly striking another person in the chest with her hand on July 15, 2023 at 8:31p.m.

Fugate was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on July 25, 2023 at 1:00p.m.

Benjamin G. Evans, 34, of State St., Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, after being arrested on July 17, 2023 at 9:45PM after a larceny incident on Veteran’s Memorial Drive.

Evans was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 5, 2023.
