On October 20, 2023, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Hunter D. Lares, 26, of Buffalo, NY, charging him with driving while impaired by drugs, speeding, no NY inspection on vehicle and a headlight infraction.
Troopers stopped Lares on Rt. 20A in the town of Sheldon for allegedly speeding. Lares was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and was transported to SP Warsaw. Troopers contacted a Drug Recognition Expert to perform an evaluation on Lares, and it was determined he was allegedly impaired by drugs.
He was later processed at SP Warsaw and agreed to submit to a blood draw and was transported to WCCH for completion. Â
Lares was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Sheldon court for October 30, 2023.
