The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force, comprised of Police Officers from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the Batavia Police Department, executed a search warrant of 14 S. Spruce Street in the City of Batavia in the early morning hours of October 28, 2023.
The search warrant was a result of a several month investigation into the illegal possession and sale of narcotics from 14 S. Spruce Street and weapons possession. Four Batavia residents were arrested as a result:
Michael J. Torres, 30, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class D Felony.
Haley M. Larnder, 24, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a class A Misdemeanor.
Dawn M. Morford, 63, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class D Felony.
Jason H. Freeman, 32, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a class D Felony.
Torres, Larnder, Morford and Freeman were held at the Genesee County Jail pending C.A.P. Court arraignment.
