GENESEE COUNTY/Pair lead police on a high-speed chase after fleeing a traffic stop in the City of Batavia

Tanner B. Wiley, 35, of Henrietta, NY, and Kimberly A. Brodsky, 32, of Batavia, NY, are facing charges after fleeing the scene of a traffic stop on West Main Street in the City of Batavia about 1:09a.m. on December 7, 2023.

Wiley led deputies on a vehicle pursuit from the City of Batavia to the Town of Pembroke, where his vehicle left the roadway and came to rest after a successful spike strip deployment. Wiley, the driver, then fled the vehicle and led deputies on a brief foot pursuit into a wooded area, where he was apprehended.

Wiley and Brodsky are each charged with criminal possession of weapon 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree with intent to sell.

Wiley was additionally charged with unlawful fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, obstruction of governmental administration 2nd degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree and various NYS Vehicle and Traffic charges.

Both Wiley and Brodsky were held at the Genesee County Jaile pending a CAP Court arraignment at 9:00a.m.
