GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester pair charged after leaving two children unsupervised in a vehicle parked in the fire lane

Kenniya Sharee Imoni Couser, 23, and Rickia Leshay Bryant, 25, both of Rochester, NY, are each charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly parking their vehicle in the fire lane on Veteran’s Memorial Drive with a 4- and 6-year-old left inside unsupervised at 2:51 p.m. on December 6, 2023.

The vehicle was allegedly left not running and the temperature was 30 degrees.

Bryant was additionally charged with petit larceny.

Both Couser and Bryant were each issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on January 16, 2023 at 3:00p.m.

Robert A. Wright, 64, of Warsaw, NY, Rick W. Reed, 42, of North Java, NY, and Jesse J. Schmidt, 41, of Darien, NY, are each charged with assault 2nd degree following an investigation of a physical altercation in the Town of Alexander at 2630 Attica Road, the Hillside Tavern, on September 8, 2023 at 11:11p.m.

All were arraigned in CAP Court on December 4, 2023, and released on recognizance.

Stacy R. Moss, 34, of Medina, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, speeding in a zone and operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, following a traffic stop in the Town of Batavia on Lewiston Road on December 4, 2023 at 2:03a.m.

Moss was allegedly in possession of controlled substances.

Moss was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and was issued traffic tickets.

Moss appeared in CAP Court on December 4, 2023 at 9:00AM.

Lisa A. Centi, of Chili, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree, false personation, insufficient signal and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, after a traffic stop on Forest Edge Drive in Batavia, NY on December 1, 2023 at 9:58p.m.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Centi allegedly provided deputies with a false name and allegedly possessed a weapon and a controlled substance. Centi also had an active warrant out of Monroe County for petit larceny.

Centi was released on appearance tickets and will appear in Batavia Town Court on January 8, 2024, at 3:00p.m. She was then turned over to Monroe County Deputies.

Susan A. Samanka, 60, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, NY, is charged with failure to appear for a photo as a registered sex offender.

Samanka allegedly failed to report to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office before her required date to provide an updated photo.

Samanka was held pending arraignment in CAP Court on December 4, 2023 at 9:00a.m.
