James G. Smith, 62, of Corfu, NY is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and speed not reasonable and prudent, after a one vehicle crash at 9497 Snipery Road in Darien on December 25, 2023 at 7:32p.m.
Deputies say Smith stated he swerved for a deer in the roadway.
Smith was arrested and transported to the Genesee County jail for processing. He will appear in Darien Twon Court on January 16, 2024 at 4:00p.m.

Ronald J. Murray, 29, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree, after an arrest for multiple active warrants at 125 Federal Drive in Batavia on December 26, 2023.
Murray allegedly attempted to prevent deputies from apprehending him while attempting to execute the warrants.
Murray was also allegedly found to be in possession of fentanyl at the time of arrest.

Theodis Hill Jr., 54, of Medina, NY, is charged with disobeying a mandate after allegedly violating an order of protection on December 27, 2023 in the Town of Batavia.
Hill was arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing, and was arraigned in CAP Court on December 29, 2023.

Ebony L. Jenkins, 24, of Rochester, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree after allegedly violating an order of protection in Bergen on December 27, 2023.
The order was issued out of Genesee County Family Court.
Jenkins was held awaiting a CAP Court arraignment.

Skarlette P. Tellier-Wilcox, 19, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise at Walmart, 4133 Veterans Memorial Drive, in the Town of Batavia.
Tellier-Wilcox was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on January 9, 2024 at 1:00p.m.
