WBTA Staff and Management accept the Business of the Year Award at Center Street Smokehouse on Thursday evening at the Batavia Business Improvement District’s Annual Meeting.

“They’ve come a long way from how it used to be, they’re changing their music, they’re changing how they interview. It’s not just the older crowd now, they are getting younger people involved, everyone is doing podcasts now. So, they are keeping people engaged. We’ve had great feedback with WBTA, and people calling and they’re like we really enjoy their interviews, they do a lot,” says BID Executive Director, Shannon Maute.

Mark Tillery of WBTA received the Biggest Supporter Award, with BID Executive Director Shannon Maute.

“Mark goes above and beyond to help promote the BID, and events the BID has, he is always getting businesses involved. He’s always thinking of new ideas,” says Maute.

Kelsey Dilcher received the Volunteer of the Year Award with BID Executive Director Shannon Maute

“Kelsey is always the first to help with anything that the BID needs, says Maute. She holds all of the registrations for the walks. She facilitates and helps with Christmas in the City. She lined all the people up this year.”
