Mr. Batavia, Gavynn Trippany, presents a check to Roswell Cancer Institute for $2,700 after placing first in the 12th Annual Mr. Batavia Contest that was held on April 4th at Batavia High School. This year’s event raised $5,460.50, bringing the total amount raised since 2013 to $48,513.Â
The students compete in multiple rounds during the event, showing off their talents. Funds raised from ticket sales and donations are given to the top three winners’ charities that they chose to represent. This year there were 11 Seniors in the competition.

Third Place, Kahler Evans presents Bella’s Bumbas a check for $1365.25. With Batavia City Schools Physical Therapist Kristi Evans accepting the check for Rebecca Parzynski. Bella’s Bumbas is based in Webster, NY.
