Walter B. Hale Jr., 47, of Lockport Road, Oakfield, NY, is charged with DWI/3 prior convictions/designated offenses in 15 years, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree and numerous traffic misdemeanors and violations, after a traffic stop and pursuit on May 24, 2025 at 1:43a.m.
Hale’s vehicle was stopped on Rt. 33 in the Town of Batavia for traffic violations. Hale fled the traffic stop in his motor vehicle and then led police on a pursuit that began in West Batavia on Rt. 33 and ended on Transit Road in Orleans County.
Hale was transported to Strong Memorial after the pursuit for treatment and then later transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing.
Hale was remanded to the custody of the Genesee County jail without bail.
