Genesee County ABATE held a Toys for Tommy Ride on Saturday morning, collecting new and unwrapped toys for children of all ages, along with donations, in honor of Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello. The cost of admission was an unwrapped toy or a $20 donation. The 65-mile ride around Genesee County kicked off at GCC and ended at GCC with food trucks.
“Tommy was into the Shop for a Cop program and Toys for Tots,” says Eric Morton, President of Genesee County ABATE.

“It’s a misrepresentation that bikers and cops don’t get along. We have a lot of former law enforcement officers who are members and a lot of current law enforcement officers who are members. Tommy believed in it and gave his life so we could live in the society we do now. It’s our opportunity to give back.”
Genesee ABATE will hold their next ride on October 4th, at 9:30a.m., at Stan’s Harley Davidson at 11:00a.m. for Breast Cancer Awareness.
