NYS Lt. Gov. Delgado visited the YWCA on Tuesday afternoon after visiting Cornell Cooperative Extension in Batavia and Community Action in Orleans County. Delgado met with Executive Director Jamie Beedham-Rada who provide a tour of the YWCA facility on North Street during Domestic Violence Awareness month. Delgado says he was looking to better understand what the facility’s needs are and what the survivors’ needs are.
During the tour, the Lt. Governor stopped in at My Sister’s Closet, the Food Pantry and office and counseling areas.
