On 10/4/2025, Robert L. Stanley, 66, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing. It’s alleged that Stanley grabbed another person by the neck during an altercation at Austin Park. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 10/6/2025, Kelly J. Mungo, 49, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Mungo allegedly struck another person during an altercation on East Main Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 10/5/2025, Michael J. Hilton, 34, of Le Roy, NY, was arrested on a Bench Warrant. The warrant stems from an incident where Hilton allegedly stole merchandise from 7eleven. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 10/4/2025, Anmarie G. Maher, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Maher was arrested following a traffic stop on East Main Street. During the arrest, her husband Matthew J. Maher allegedly threw a set of keys at a police officer. He then allegedly resisted arrest when police attempted to take him into custody. Both were issued appearance tickets and released.

On 10/2/2025, Christopher A. Sewar, 38, of Batavia, NY was arrested on three arrest warrants. All three warrants were issued after Sewar failed to appear in court on three separate Petit Larceny arrests. Sewar was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. On 10/8/2025, Sewar was arrested for Trespass. It’s alleged that he was on the property of Dollar General, after having previously been trespassed. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 10/4/2025, Ryan M. Bobzin, 36, of Byron, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Appearing in Public Under the Influence of Narcotics. Bobzin was arrested after police responded to a welfare check in the area of Washington Avenue and Dellinger Avenue. Bobzin was allegedly under the influence of narcotics and found in possession of fentanyl. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 10/21/2025.

On 10/7/2025, Sabrena L. McGill, 49, of Painted Post, NY, was arrested on four warrants. McGill was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. She is due back in court on 10/21/2025.

On 10/8/2025. Mark A. Taylor, 57, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant. The warrant stems from an incident where Taylor was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Taylor was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 10/9/2025, Eric S. Dawson-Leach, 36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant for False Personation. It’s alleged that Dawson-Leach provided police with a fake name during an incident on East Avenue on 9/17/2025. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
