Just a casual observation but did anyone see the disdain the other candidates had to Ms Worthingtons remarks? I’m curious as to what she thinks she is going to accomplish being 1/5 of a board. Her lack of knowledge and a true understanding of the facts puts her on the outside looking in with no real purpose other than to be critical. She wants to bring transparency to the board and is running on the notion that she will live stream the meetings giving the town a look at the business side of the board. But every meeting is on YouTube now so what will she bring to the board? Division and an unwillingness to cooperate.
Ms Worthington is an also-ran that is trying to be disruptive under the guise of being a voice of the people. She “has a few ideas” about trimming the budget in lieu of increasing taxes. What specifically is she going to cut that the current board members are not willing to cut? Does she want to disrupt progress to the parks and recreation areas? Maybe she wants to cut funding to seniors or the disabled? Who knows but she is making claims not from a position of authority but from a position of “ anything you can do I can do better”
I’m sure that her loyal followers will support her regardless but many of the residents of Stafford agree that on Voting day “ anyone but Cathy” is the most logical choice
