On November 13, 2025 the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a vehicle in the Town of Stafford as well as a residence at 128 Jackson Street, Batavia, NY, stemming from narcotics investigations. As a result of the warrant execution, the following people were located and charged:
Howard Melvin Decarlis Jr., 43, of Jackson Street, Batavia, NY, was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B felony and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Nykia Yate Diamond Corbit, 33, of Savannah Street, Rochester, NY, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance, a class B felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class D felony.
Davon Tamer Michael Bell, 39, of Jackson Street, Batavia, NY, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B felony and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
All defendants were held for CAP Court arraignments. The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, City of Batavia Police Department, and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office assisted with the investigation.
