On 2/19/2026, Nicholas J. Cavallaro, 27, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Harassment 2nd degree. After being detained by police on an unrelated incident, Cavallaro began to slam his head against the metal cage in the back of a patrol car. When Officers opened the door to try to get him to stop, he became combative and allegedly kicked a Batavia Police Officer in the head.
The Officer suffered a concussion and was treated and released from UMMC.
Cavallaro was transported to Strong Hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained from hitting his head inside the car. After being released from the hospital, Cavallaro was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.
On 2/19/2026, Robert R. Richmond, 62, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Sex Offender Failure to Verify Address. Richmond, who is a level 3 sex offender, allegedly failed to verify his address, as he is required to do. He was arraigned in CAP Court.

On 2/22/2026, Grace R. Doud, 21, of Attica, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Doud was charged following a traffic stop on East Main Street. She was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court on 3/4/2026.

On 2/23/2026, Parodyce K. Warren, 20, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a Bench Warrant. Warren was initially charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree in September of 2025, after allegedly damaging property at VanDetta Stadium. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 2/19/2026, Richard A. Miller, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. While being taken into custody on an unrelated warrant, Miller was allegedly found in possession of cocaine. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 3/3/2026.

On 2/18/2026, Lesha M. Vetter, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. It’s alleged that Vetter failed to appear to testify in court after being served a subpoena. She was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 2/19/2026, Phillip P. Heale, 47, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Heale was charged after he allegedly spit in another person’s face during an argument on Linwood Avenue. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 2/21/2026, Meaghan A. Conti, 38, of East Rochester, NY, was arrested on a Bench Warrant. Conti was initially charged in May of 2025 with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court. Conti was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 2/26/2026, Kimberly L. Blue, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Blue was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, when she was arrested for an unrelated incident in June of 2023. Blue was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 2/25/2026, Steven P. Nasewytewa, 37, no address provided, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. Nasewytewa was charged after he was allegedly found violating an order of protection. It’s alleged that Nasewytewa allowed the protected person to drive him to a probation appointment. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
