On 4/21/2026, Steven J. Godinho, 41 of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. Godinho was arrested after allegedly violating an order of protection, at a residence on Summit Street. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.

On 4/28/2026, Heriberto Benitez, 52, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Benitez allegedly struck another person in the face during an altercation on West Main Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/25/2026, Erin J. King, 26, of Hamlin, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. King was charged following a traffic stop on West Main Street. She was issued several traffic tickets and released.

On 4/20/2026, Matthew E. Draper, 42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree. Draper was charged after he allegedly traded a stolen phone at an Eco ATM kiosk. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/25/2026, Alexis T. Davis and Vanessa M. Davis were both arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Both were charged after allegedly striking another person during an altercation at the Copperhead Creek Bar on West Main Street. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released.
