Perry, NY – Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a Perry resident following a suspicious person investigation by the Perry Police Department.
On May 11th, 2026, The Perry Police Department arrested 43-year-old David L. Purdy following a suspicious person investigation. It was reported that Purdy allowed a seventeen-year-old to have a drink of his vodka. Purdy was arrested and charged with NYS PL. 260.20-02 Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree.
Purdy was arraigned in the Perry Village Court where two full stay away orders of protection were put in place. Purdy is to appear back in the Perry Village Court on 06/09/2026.
