105 Pembroke students along with their teachers and advisors, traveled to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio this weekend to compete in the Music in the Parks program.
On Friday evening, the Pembroke Marching Band, Concert Band and Chorus performed before a panel of adjudicators and evaluators in concert band, mixed choir, and marching band(parade). The Pembroke Dragons were up against schools their size and larger from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Canada and were awarded first place in all three categories.
