Lattimore Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation will open on Monday, August 17th at 9AM at their first location in Genesee County, 7 Evans Street.
“It’s at least been a couple months that we’ve been working on this space. We had to kind of gut it out. It was a dermatologist’s office beforehand, so we had to basically open the space out-new drywall, new floors, everything like that. We just got most of the equipment in this week. There’s a couple more things that will be coming in next week, but we’ll be opening on Monday,” says Kelsey Milligan, Clinic Director at Lattimore.
Milligan has been at Lattimore’s Webster location the past six years. She is a native of Pavilion and a Nazareth University graduate. She will be able to assist patients with large variety of things.
“Basically, any aches, pains, arthritis, any post-surgical patients. Whether it’s a total knee, a rotator cuff injury, ACL injury. I treat sports injuries as well. I also treat vestibular issues, balance, dizziness.”

Cindy Schuman/Co-Founder of Lattimore says they are leasing the building and are looking forward to branching out of the Rochester area where they started 35 years ago with one clinic.
“My husband and I, we had a vision to grow all over, so we wanted to come in to more communities reaching out more towards Syracuse and Buffalo. Kelsey grew up in this area, we love to put our directors somewhere where they grew up, they have a passion for giving back to the community,” says Schuman.
“She (Kelsey) was at our Webster clinic and was doing great there, but when this opportunity came up that’s what we looked towards. She’s a great leader and it’s great to bring her back to the community. That’s always Lattimore’s way to give back to the community and family. It’s always been a big thing since day one.”
Milligan says she is very excited to be able to provide physical therapy and sports rehabilitation services to the Batavia area.
“I do think a big part of PT is actually getting to know the patient, providing individualized care, and I really do feel like I do a good job of doing that. I think it’s helpful when you’re in pain, like you also want to have a good time, and I think that I can provide like a good caring quality to that, I think it helps people get better along with obviously the knowledge. I think Lattimore in general has a very family like feel.”
“We’re here to make a difference and hopefully the community will come out and support. We’re always here to help make people feel better and get better, that’s what we’re all about. We’re family oriented. Yes, we’re big, this is the 36th clinic, but we’re still a very good family feel and employees and everyone share together,” says Schuman.
