ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Holley man reportedly driving erratic is charged with felony DWI

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged a Holley man after he was observed driving all over the roadway in the Town of Clarendon and Town of Murray February 4, 2017.

At 5:27 p.m., The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office 9-1-1 Center received a civilian complaint of a vehicle operating in an erratic manor on Fourth Section Road and Hulberton Road.

Deputies subsequently located the vehicle in the owner’s driveway.

Vincent M. Roselli, 33, is charged with felony DWI , operating a motor vehicle by circumventing an interlock device, felony aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, aggravated operation of a motor vehicle 3rd, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Roselli was arraigned in the Town of Murray Court and bail was set at $2,500 cash.  He was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff.

Roselli is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court on March 8, 2017, and the Town of Batavia Court for a Breath Test Refusal Hearing on February 17, 2017.

 

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Town of Murray man after he attempted to obstruct a domestic incident investigation at the County Line Mobile Home Park on February 5, 2017.

Peter M. Pifer, 32, of Skyline Circle, allegedly ran into a room and refused to come out, then attempted to push past deputies and refused commands to stop resisting as officers attempted to handcuff him.

Pifer was taken into custody and placed into a patrol vehicle.

Pifer later calmed down and was issued appearance tickets for obstructing governmental administration 2nd and resisting arrest. Pifer is scheduled to appear in the Town of Murray Court on February 23, 2017 at 6:30pm.

This incident was investigated by Sgt D. Foeller and Deputy S. Fox., assisted by Holley Police Officer A. Poler, and the New York State Police.
