PERRY POLICE REPORT/Man charged after he was found driving without an interlock device

On February 15, 2018, at 9:11 p.m., Officer Harding and Officer Hope were patrolling on Lake Street  in the Village of Perry, when Allan Gilman, 56, no address provided, was observed operating a motor vehicle with a headlight out.

Upon stopping the vehicle, Officer Harding ran a data check on the vehicle.  The data check revealed that the vehicle’s registration had expired on January 4, 2018 and Gilman’s driver’s license was revoked on January 4, 2016 for a DWI conviction.

Gilman was also restricted to operate a motor vehicle with a court ordered interlock device, which he did not have in the vehicle.

He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device.

Gilman was arraigned in the Warsaw Village Court and was committed to the Wyoming County Jail with a return court date of March 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Village of Perry Court.

 

 

Meaghan Schiavi, 25, of Perry, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole a deodorant stick from the Dollar General Store in Perry on February 19, 2018.

Schiavi was issued an appearance ticket and was banned from the store.
